"the perfect sound" with italics on "the' means the guy lives an active fantasy life. Perfect for him may not be so for someone else. The whole thing reeks of hustle to me. They may be decent horns. But from him,I wouldn't even consider them. I don't like two bit versions of PT Barnum.

They are actually quite nice. I have a buddy who has a pair, you can see some of the pics here: http://public.fotki.com/Tagginbac/te...e3.htmlhttp://. There are a couple pages of pics. I might even get a pair myself.

He got his for around $150. This guy makes these and auctions them off. I've seen them go for anywhere from $150 to $500 for a pair. If you look at his other items he also makes what look to be nice crossovers too.

I think it's nice to have sources like this for the technically challenged folks like myself.

I had a pair of these for a while. Mine were the 2 inch version. They have an exponential flair. They are nicely made and sound good but it just wasn't for me. Very different sound than any Altec horn I have listened too. You may like it or you may not.
